all alone
i been living in
my tahoe
i hope
i can make it till
tomorrow
life is cold
alberta is colder.
i made a home
on the shoulder.
i wanna hold her
just once more
but all i hold are
feelings of remorse.
all alone
i been living in
my tahoe
i hope
i can make it till
tomorrow
life is cold
alberta is colder.
i made a home
on the shoulder.
im praying for rain
but i only get thunder
im colder then hell
atleast hell would be warmer.
all alone
i been living in
my tahoe
i hope
i can make it till
tomorrow
life is cold
alberta is colder.
i made a home
on the shoulder.

Friendly Ol' Feller
02:47
|
|||
theres a little old house
down that road
theres old man
and his dog
they live alone
and you would never
know
the pain that has gone
thru that window
and out on to the lawn
and all the hurt
that is soaked
into those wooden doors
and all the tears that are stained
into those floorboards.
friendly ol' feller
who speaks of the lord
he works up in town
but usually sits on his porch
his friends call him georgy
but his name is george
he been thru alot
back in the war.
but when the war was over
george brought that pain home
and poor ol' georgy couldnt let that pain go
so he started drinkin at first he sipped slow
it was'nt really working so he ordered 4 more
got in his car & drove down the road
& crashed that damn car right into his home
killing his wife that loved him the most
poor ol' george will never let that go
friendly ol' feller
who speaks of the lord
he works up in town
but usually sits on his porch
his friends call him georgy
but his name is george
he been thru alot
back in the war.
way back when he used to play the guitar
and they say he used to sing at the bar
but damn that ol' feller could sure make a jar
he used to make the best damn moonshine by far.
but he don't make moonshine anymo'
george just let all those hobbies go
when he lost his wife he lost his soul.
the whole town hates him but i sure don't.
friendly ol' feller
who speaks of the lord
he works up in town
but usually sits on his porch
his friends call him georgy
but his name is george
he been thru alot
back in the war.

they come to nashville
in droves , diamonds
amongst stones
just looking for a home
for their sad old songs.
well hell they can all go
back to buffalo.
this aint sound country
anymore. to me.
luke bryan is lame
& hardy can go away,
i bet charlies rollin in his grave
every other day
combs can take a hike
tell him come back when he finds a snipe
& tell keith to pass the pipe
im trying to get high.
nashville in droves
diamonds
amongst stones
just looking for a home
for their sad old songs
hell they can all go
back to buffalo.
this aint sound country
anymore. to me.
i swear if i could only
i would ressurect blaze foley
id' bring back townes, waylon & johnny too.
then id dig up ol' charlie
and come back for hyram in the mornin
but id leave that prick paycheck
in hell where he belongs.
nashville in droves
diamonds
amongst stones
just looking for a home
for their sad old songs.
hell they can all go
back to buffalo.
this aint sound country

Sad Cowboy
01:39
|
|||
there aint nothing sadder
then a sad cowboy
thinkin' about what used to be.
trying hard to remember
what life was like
before the pain and misery.
my short temper has cost me my friends
its cost me my family
now its cost me my wife
and its cost me my life
oh to hell with me.
there aint nothing sadder
then a sad cowboy
thinkin' about what used to be.
trying hard to remember
what life was like
before the pain and misery.
now im sitting in jail
stirring about
thinking of the times
back on the out.
im sorry that i let you all down
well its too late for sorrys
i've lost it all now.
there aint nothing sadder
then a sad cowboy
thinkin' about what used to be.
trying hard to remember
what life was like
before the pain and misery.
there aint nothing sadder
then a sad cowboy
thinkin' about what used to be.
trying hard to remember
what life was like
before the pain and misery.
there aint nothing sadder
then a sad cowboy.
